FAQs & Policies

How do you pronounce ianua?

“Ee-ah-nu-ah” or “Yah-nu-ah” — for more about the meaning, read my about page.

How shall I prepare for my session?

Early Arrival — please arrive 5-10 minutes early for each session to support you in entering a restful, parasympathetic, healing state and start your session on time. If it is your first session, arrive 15 minutes early to fill out an intake form, orient and ground yourself.

Communication — share about your conditions and intentions for your session. I will do my best to address the specific needs and desires you have.

Cleanliness — please use good hygiene. Arrive having showered and without fragrance or products on your skin.

Presence — as much as possible, seek to set aside distractions (silence and put away your devices) and be present with your body’s sensations. Take some deep breaths to slow down your body and mind.

Hydration — before, and especially after treatment, drink plenty of water to allow your body to flush out what was released during treatment and to keep your cells functioning optimally.

Repeat — if the session serves your needs, be proactive in your self care by rescheduling.

Can I arrange for an in-home session?

Yes — text or email me directly. I’ll be in touch so we can calculate a traveling fee, schedule an appointment, and address any other questions you might have. Bonus if you have a partner, housemate, family member or neighbor who would also like a session!

I am also happy to discuss sharing these services at gatherings, parties and community events.

Do you have gift cards?

Yes — you can pick one up at your session, or let me know the amount you’d like to gift, the recipients name and address, and I can mail it to them directly.
